Great location and lots of potential - if only the owner cared to spend a bit of money on it!
The location is excellent, very close to Toowoon Bay Beach and playground, with a takeaway shop just around the corner as well. The townhouse was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. The managing agent was helpful by delivering a few essential items that were missing on arrival. The driveway and garage is very narrow - we had to park our Mazda CX-9 on the road, but there was easy parking there and it's a short walk into the complex.
Overall, the townhouse has not been cared for well at all. When we saw the photos, we understood that it had original 1970's decor, but nothing has been done to maintain it for a long time.
The weather was very hot when we stayed, and only one rusty old pedestal fan was provided, with a small fan heater that could be used as just a fan as well but which barely moved the air around. The upstairs level was very hot by the late afternoon with direct sun, and hard to cool down. We'd seen previous reviews and brought our own small fan but the owner should really have a pedestal fan in each bedroom and one downstairs as well.
The kitchen was usable, but the cupboards were packed with a random assortment of crockery, a lot of which was dirty, and lots of old appliances that were dirty as well. This meant we felt we had to wash everything before using it, and keep a small amount of things in rotation the whole time. The shelves in the kitchen cupboards looked close to buckling from age.
The back garden was in a poor state - overgrown with weeds and broken chairs left out there. The advertised BBQ was rusted and unusable.
The DVD player didn't recognise any of our DVDs, so doesn't work and needs replacing. The vacuum was very clogged with dirt and hadn't been emptied for a long time.
The townhouse was mostly clean enough, lots of cobwebs on the ceilings, especially the stairwell needed dusting away. There were a few ants and cockroaches that we saw but nothing overly abnormal. The whole place could do with a pest spray though.

Very old unit many ant 🐜 insects, carpet very allergic most of thjngs was damaged and old no air-conditioning and just one fan no internet, old tv. Not healthy for asthmatic family
