New Cottage is an absolutely wonderful place, filled with warmth, charm, and genuine hospitality. We have rarely, if ever, experienced such a heartfelt and welcoming reception anywhere else.
From the very first moment, we felt completely at home. Everything here is peaceful, beautiful, and full of character. One of our favorite memories is waking up in the morning to the irresistible smell of freshly baked croissants.
The hosts were truly exceptional — always greeting us with warm smiles, offering help whenever needed, and making us feel genuinely cared for. Their kindness and warmth made our stay even more special.
The location is fantastic, just a 15-minute walk from the town center, with lovely opportunities to stroll along the bay. And the sauna in the evening, after a full day of exploring Normandy, was the perfect finishing touch.
New Cottage is one of those rare places that stays in your heart long after you leave. It is somewhere we would love to return to.
A special thank you to the wonderful hosts for their incredible hospitality, thoughtfulness, and attention to every little detail. You made our stay truly unforgettable!

Everything, the staff, the location which offered a perfect balance of feeling like you were in the country while just steps away from the town of magical Honfleur, the decor, the breakfasts. The host and owner, Eric, was an absolute delight to interact with each day. Eric was able to offer excellent suggestions and information regarding restaurants, local experiences, insight into life in Normande all delivered with a great sense of humour and enthusiasm. Thank you for setting up afternoon tea for Donna and the wonderful cider to celebrate our 35th anniversary!
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here and hope to return in the near future.
