Really cosy and friendly environment, the staff were so welcoming and helpful, they give you loads of recommendations for food and plan activities most evenings, the beds were really comfortable, the location is absolutely perfect, would recommend everyone stays here!
The noise from the road outside did wake me up in the night but there are ear plugs provided and otherwise the room was really great

This is hostel is such a special place! Elisa and her team created a small home away from home, making all their guests feel welcome. They give you the best tips to explore around (definitely follow the list of recommended restaurants, I had the best food), organize activities like trivia night and board games night, and even do a tour for the night market.
The place itself is cozy, clean, with comfortable beds.
But for me it was the atmosphere and the kindness and passion of the people that made my stay one of best of my Malaysia trip. And they have the cutest cat!

I was surprise that Ipoh accommodations were on the pricey side comparé to my other stops. We received a warm welcome, lots of information given about visits, restsurants and a WA communitiy to get in touch with other travelers. Elisa is a great host and the night market visit and movie nights were lovely.
The mattress was not that comfortable. Usually when you book a dormitory you have a common space available to cook, have a coffee. Here the common place was the cafe, so when it was closed no place to sit, hang out, not cutleries..
