About this cottage rental
Nestled in Monroe, this lovely cottage for $200 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Oak Shore cottages are 4 season lake front cottages, located on the West side of Swan Lake. Enjoy warm summer days, beautiful fall foliage, winter ice fishing and snow sledding and welcoming spring days. Just a short drive down West Moores Shore Lane, our cottage sits on a flat lakeside lot with 125' of shore frontage on pristine Swan Lake. Enjoy beautiful sunrises, warm sunny days on the lakeside lawn, swimming, kayaking or just relaxing on the deck. Located just minutes from downtown Belfast and beautiful Penobscot Bay. Day trips to Acadia National Park, Camden Harbor, Historic Fort Knox and Penobscot Marine. Museum are all less than 90 minutes away. All contact information will be placed on site once campers arrive. Keys will be on the table upon arrival date. Please remember this is a camp with many updates but atill a camp. 7 night stay minimum Check in @ 4;00pm Check out @ 10:00am

The week went by to fast, but was amazing. The cabin was like we never left home. We will definitely be back!

Our family of five had a fantastic stay at the cottage. Our hosts we great and made us very comfortable. The place is beautiful and right on the lake. It was clean and spacious, with a large backyard and a little beach. There were kayaks and I was able to go out on the lake a few time. Overall, we had a great time.

We visited the last week in September and had a quiet relaxing stay at the cabin. We used the house as a base and spent our days hiking and kayaking along the coast. Sitting lakeside was the perfect way to finish the day.

We had a wonderful stay at Oak Shore Cottages. Doug and Candy, the property owners, were great hosts and were very attentive to our needs. The cottage nicely accommodated my family of four adults and two kids. We loved the deck and huge yard, which provided ample room for the children to play a variety of sports and other activities during the day. We loved the quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and gorgeous lake views with magnificent sunsets! Doug and Candy were very kind to give us a tour of the lake by boat and we enjoyed swimming and using the kayaks. The property is very close to many local attractions such as Fort Knox/Penobscot Narrows Observatory and downtown Belfast. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Oak Shore Cottages. Doug and Candy, the property owners, were great hosts and were very attentive to our needs. Our family had an outstanding experience staying at Oak Shore Cottages. The property owners are close by, and they made sure we had everything we needed. They are super friendly! The location is perfect for day trips to several different locations on the coast of Maine, but to tell the truth, we had a hard time leaving the camp and the lake! The huge yard is perfect for family time, and the lake is exceptionally clean. We saw lots of wildlife, and caught several fish! Overall, we highly recommend this property, and would definitely rent there again.

As long time Swan Lake visitors, our stay at Candy and Doug's cottage met all of our expectations of the lake life we love to experience in Maine.The cottage was great, the furnishings and interior, comfortable and clean. The bedding was fresh, the beds comfy.. The kitchen was very good for us to work in, the appliances modern and clean. There was plenty of room for our family group of 5 adults. The WiFi worked perfectly as did the dish TV. We loved using the deck that overlooked the expansive lawn with views toward the lake and enjoyed many hours at the picnic table there, using the gas grill,and sitting in the Adirondack chairs-even catching a meteor shower in the night sky. The cottage is on a nice little neighborhood lane dotted with other well cared for cottages and homes and had a nice, peaceful neighborhood air about it. Candy and Doug were the perfect hosts who were readily available (like when we needed a propane tank change for the grill). They were very kind, easy to work with through the entire process of booking and they fully respected our privacy throughout the stay. .
