This lovely residence sits quietly between the famous chateaus of Amboise and Chenonceaux. It is just 1.9 mi from the center of Amboise, and close to many of the regions famous vineyards including Vouvray and Montlouis-sur-Loire.

A little private garden in front of the room

The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was very nice. The quiet, beautiful surroundings were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Free parking.
The room was very small and basic. The pictures on Booking.com made the room look larger. The walls were very thin. We could hear our neighbors talking and we could REALLY hear the flushing and showering next door.

The hotel was away from the town and set in beautiful grounds, it was idyllic if you wanted a complete getaway to relax. The pool area was a bonus and lovely way to round off a long day of driving. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful, and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The room itself was clean, comfortable and, given the heatwave, had excellent air con. Breakfast was basic continental, but what we had was good and very nicely presented.
The out if town location meant a drive, even for dinner and a drink. The hotel reception and bar closed at 7.30, meaning nowhere to even get a coffee, or ask any questions after this time.
There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which would have been beneficial given the lack of bar/reception.

Breakfast only offered a selection of breads/croissant in a basket with jam.
No cheese, ham, fruits or yoghurts but only 10 Euros
Basic swimming pool with very uncomfortable sunbeds on uneven ground
