Great location. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Beautiful old building. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value and a good base for exploring.
A little noisy but that it to be expected in the middle of a city. Breakfast room was crowded and had to queue for seats if arriving busy times.

When we booked, they did offer airport transfer for 100€ round trip (SAW), which was a very good price for a group of 5, and the van felt luxurious and everything was quick and easy. We arrived at the hotel at 07:00 with the transfer and they allowed us to do very early check in to our rooms, which was life saving after a whole night of flying. Only because of that, I’d rate them a 10, but they did also upgrade our room for no reason to a better one, which was perfect, nice bed, clean, good toilet and a balcony with nice views of the Gulhane Park. The AC was working perfectly and the room was cool and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but decent, toast, cereal, cheese… The hotel is not even 4 mins away walking from Sultanahmet square, with plenty of shops, restaurants and nice things to do, also next to the T1 tramway stop. The communication with the hotel was very good and the guys in the reception were very kind. I’d definitely come back to this hotel when I return to Istanbul, because we paid a ridiculous price for the quality that this hotel offered. After many times in Istanbul on which I felt “scammed” with the hotels, this time I felt like at home. Thank you.
There’s no elevator and the room had very steep stairs, but it wasn’t a big problem to us, it’s understandable that that building is old. Not a complain, just to let others know in case they need an elevator.

-Zimmer war recht dunkel und es war relativ hellhörig
-Frühstück war nicht so unseres (ist typisch türkisch; Kaffee war leider ungenießbar, nicht viel Auswahl)
