Overall good

Comfortable,

Room facing the road was noisy with constant traffic, the hotel restaurant has too many waiters watching you and ready to jump on your empty plates making one uncomfortable.

Short not unpleasant stay but there is lots of room for improvement

Good Location. Good view. Valet parking though costs 40 L.E. Authentic vintage interior. Staff were nice.

The room we stayed in was in need of some attention, particularly the bathroom. The towel hangers were not securely fixed, the door required maintenance, and the faucet was not fixed properly. Upon check-in, we noticed a shortage of bathroom supplies, including shampoo. However, when we brought this to the attention of the staff, they promptly provided us with what we needed. In terms of the restaurant, it would benefit from more thorough cleaning, especially the window shelves. Overall, our stay could have been more enjoyable if these issues were addressed, but we appreciate the prompt response from the staff when we raised our concerns. With some improvements, this place has the potential to provide a more satisfying experience for its guests.

Cozy Historic Comfortable Stay with Best Service

This is my 2nd stay here, and I'm still happy with the service. The front desk did their best to accommodate our request for early checkin. The breakfast team were amazing, making you feel special. The cleaning team attentively cleaned the room everyday, proactively even arranging clothes. Overall, the stay was amazing and will highly recommend friends and family to stay.

Improve the bathroom facility like the bidet and AC will make everything perfect. Parking is also something that could be improved

View , room amenities, staff , toiletries. Main restaurant is still iconic for lunch and dinner ( but not for breakfast ).

Breakfast : this hotel is known to have a fantastic kitchen and restaurant. However, breakfast can be much better with decent coffee. They only have terrible classic Nescafé and when I asked for real coffee ( American coffee ) I had to pay extra. I asked for an omelette , it was very badly done and looked like scramble eggs. The bakery ( croissants and cake were far from fresh). The cheeses were of poor cheap quality. I honestly expected much better. The only good thing was foul and falafel.

The staff were excellent! So friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Location was great, with a view of the beach and bridge.

The location was indescribable it was right in the sea The pillows were really comfortable and the room was clean thanks for the housekeeping.

good value for money if you use the hotel as sleep then hit the street.

location, staff are respectful and willing to help.

our bathroom bidet had stains let alone rust. flush didn’t work, called maintenance to fix it. the room is like a maze, bathroom inside the bedroom! the door of the living space hits the door of the wardrobe! their open air cafe has gorgeous view but shameful lacks hygiene, street cats are welcomed! I skipped the breakfast the following day to avoid being in such unpleasant environment.

Its cozy, clean with a nice view of stanley bridge and the bay. all three rooms that i booked, single, double and suite are spacious with comfy beds.. the hotel feels like a home. The hotel cafe/ restaurant serves good food with a romantic view which is a bonus

I was really pleased to stay at San Giovanni hotel. The location and the room view were amazing. The staff were so helpful and professional. Breakfast was really good and variable. The room was cleaned well, and facilities are available. I would strongly recommend this hotel for future travellers.
