Very modern and well-laid out room. Would have preferred a bottle or two of water in the room but it was OK, we had our own. No complaints about anything in hotel. There wasn't much of a view of the river from our room but, on the other hand, my wife was happy to see horses in the lot outside our window. Close to the Rambla, so we had a nice walk. Restaurant was fine. Had lunch and dinner there. Everyone we communicated with was generous and friendly.

The location is lovely, peaceful and the perfect balance between the centre and having somewhere quiet to relax later. Breakfast was varied with hot and cold options, and they even made up a special vegan breakfast for me. The pool area is spacious and was never too busy to get a spot. We had dinner in the old town so can’t comment on the food. Cleaning was exceptional!
We booked a loft but were tricked by the pictures which we later found out were actually of the river loft. The pictures have since been updated to reflect the rooms more accurately but be warned if you’re booking the loft. Based on the booking we expected a bright room full of natural light, bathroom with sliding doors to a private balcony and partial view of the river. The room we received was at the back of the hotel, quite dark because it doesn’t get any sunshine and faces onto the car park, with a balcony facing directly onto the balconies of apartments opposite. The bathroom had no sliding doors. While this is all fine, and on balance the price is still good for what you receive, it’s the misrepresentation of the room that we didn’t feel happy about. They were able to move us to a river loft for our second night and it was exactly what we hoped our booking would be.
