Location for St Charles rail station
Staff - poor customer service, male receptionist not engaging and did not seem interested.
The female on duty was helpful and wished us happy journey when we left.

Close to the station, room has all the basic amenities that we need.
A bit old, it was obviously renovated but some old remnants like the vent’s control knob was old. Water pressure was also weaker than we would like.

Within walking distance to the train station, though the neighborhood isn't great. Good water pressure in the shower.
Loud, dirty rooms without air conditioning as many others have noted. Staged pictures online look nothing like the drab, run down room that they put us in. The carpet in our room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. The previous guest had tried to make coffee in the water kettle and it hadn't been cleaned out. Felt like the room was much more expensive than it should have been, especially for what we got.
