Location is fantastic, close to Monet house and gardens. Hôtel gardens, reception, and restaurant are beautiful. Staff are good.
Stayed in standard room. Lighting and design of bathroom is terrible. Cannot use bathroom to do makeup or anything which requires good lighting. Overall the room was very small and cluttered with hotel fixtures such as the kettle and coffee machine. Guests do need space to put stuff too!

This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful and peaceful setting with lots of character. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do more for us to make our stay comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the Monet Gardens which are a 5 minute walk away.
The room did not have air conditioning and we stayed on a very hot and humid day which made sleeping a little difficult. However a ceiling fan did help and we have had an unusually hot summer so this is not a criticism as the character of the property more than compensates for this minor issue.

1. The location is lovely with a large garden.
2. There is no lift in the hotel so be prepared to carry suitcases up the stairs (not a problem for us) but it may be for some.
3. I liked the Dyson fan in the room.
4. The shower water pressure was good.
5. The parking was easy and secure.
1. The receptionist (girl) on arrival was most unwelcoming.
2. Service for the evening meal was erratic and slow - I didn't like the food, my partner did.
3. Breakfast was basic and overpriced.
4. The decor for the breakfast room needs improvement.
5. The pillows in the room need upgrading.
