This little hotel felt like the essence of Paris. Our room looked out on Notre Dame and was next-door to Shakespeare and Company. It is old and funky and perfect.

This the type of boutique hotel that I love to stay in. It has all the traditional Parisien charm. The staff were charming and helpful. The location could not be better right on the left bank opposite Notre Dame. Its close to the metro and lots of fabulous restaurants and bars. Highly recommend 👌
I was on the third floor in a lovely room but no lift. Thankfully one of the staff carried my baggage.

The location was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The rooms were difficult to access, the carpets and decor looked grubby. The bathrooms needed modernised and the lack of air conditioning made sleeping uncomfortable. There were fans in the room, which were noisy. The photo's on the website make the rooms look a lot better than they actually were. The whole place needs a lot of TLC, especially for the price. The place was clearly repaired by an amateur DIY enthusiast.
