Great location, beautiful, traditional building, very clean.
Shower in the bath, pretty cramped. Option of breakfast would have been nice.

A Grand Hotel in the centre of town. There is a garage for storing bikes.
It is all a bit tired. Old fashioned bathroom and no bar or dining room but plenty of options to eat in town.
Our room was next to the lift which wasn't adequately sound proofed.

Lovely decor especially main reception and hall ways, centrally located. Beds comfortable.
Floors in particular were quite dirty when I walked around with bare feet I got dirty and lots of bits on them.

- Friendly staff.
- Great location.
- Beautiful old building.
- Paper thin walls (I could clearly hear conversations in the hallway and in the room next door - inc. a phone call at 3am!).
- Shower semi-functional.
- Mattress not very comfortable.
- Soundproofing. They need to attend to this. Guests typically pay for a good night's sleep, when staying at a hotel. For all the beauty of the building, I had a horrible, and constantly disrupted, night at this hotel, so I have to mark it down on this basis.
