This is the best place we stayed during our trip to Galapagos. Rooms are spacious, with balcony, good water pressure in the shower, TV, beach towels. The main asset of this place is staff. Azucena was super helpful in making our stay comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Posada del Mar in Puerto Ayora. This charming little hotel enjoys an excellent location overlooking the bay, right in the heart of town, with restaurants, the waterfront, and water taxis just a few steps away. It’s a perfect base for exploring Santa Cruz.
A special mention goes to Carlos, who seems to do just about everything — receptionist, waiter, bellboy, and probably a few other jobs we never discovered! Always there, hardworking, and welcoming, he adds a wonderful personal touch to the place.
Posada del Mar has the charm and personal atmosphere that make a small hotel memorable. We would happily stay here again and warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Cruz!
The building is old and can do with a renovation. Hot water, though plenty, is sometimes fluctuating.
