The cabins may surprise people who aren't familiar with Leigh Creek's history as a mining town - they are old workers quarters and there's nothing flash about them, but we really enjoy staying here on our way to, or back from, the Flinders Ranges - and having a meal at the hotel, a chat with whoever is around, doing a bit of shopping and catching up on emails and phone calls. The staff are courteous and helpful, the pub food is good, and the coffee shop is an absolute bonus.
There was a problem with the bed mattress/base which we didn't figure out until the morning, so we didn't have a very good night's sleep. The staff wanted to understand the problem and I'm sure they'll be alert to this type of problem in the future.

Easy to find after a very long day.
Tired, dated, tiles off in the shower, salt damp in the walls of the shower room.
Bedding was clean but had seen better days
