Sehr nettes Personal!

it was very convenient for a quick overnight trip to Kruger and the staff were excellent
totally just my personal preference issue, but there just wasn’t much to do during the day between game drives. we were limited to hanging out in our room or in the small deck/bar area

The room is amazing with an outside shower. The restaurant is fabulous and the food is great. The evening entertainment was good. The game drives made the whole stay. James was amazing, couldn't ask for a better guide.
They turn off the electricity for the night up until the morning. Also there were some hidden costs, no price list for drinks, when you go on game drive the first drink is free, after that you have to pay, which they only tell you when you have your second drink in your hand. The fridge in the room is outside, and I was too scared to go outside at night due to baboons jumping on the roof. Also there is no AC, so it does get warm. The pool was freezing cold, so we didn't use it.

A true hidden gem. Luxury tent rooms with all the little touches. Game drives included and our guide, Sorta, was fantastic. All the staff were amazing. Meals were divine. Everything so well thought out, clean, and beautiful location.
Loved it all. Would have been added bonus for the river to be running, but we were here in the dry summer.

Excellent range of food for breakfast and interesting and very tasty evening meals. The rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable with plenty of space. We didn't use the pool or other facilities as we didn't have time. Game drives with James were very informative and interesting and he has a wonderful knowledge of the area and the game. Even though we weren't there at the best time of year he found plenty of animals and pre-empted some of the behaviour that was about to happen. I'm actually not a great fan of sundowners as I'd rather be out looking for animals but everything was presented very cleanly and a good selection of snacks were available. Every member of Staff we met was polite and friendly and we couldn't have asked for more.
We loved our stay and don't want to be negative but were surprised at the extra costs for an extra sundowner (after the first one) as we felt this was a little petty on the cost of the trip and we weren't told when we were out that it was being charged.

The Safari Tour was very good, the Rangers are doing a very good job!
The food was not good and the service staff were very slowly.

What a great place to stay in the park. Very friendly staff, and very good guides going out of their way to find good sightings. We had elephant drinking at the water hole at camp almost evey day. Absolutely loved our stay at them.

The ranger Vusi was exceptional

Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again. Location is the best.

Area rich of animals, internet during a day in the reception area
No heating, no electricity after 10pm, no phone connection, windows without glass, just mosquito mesh, no electric fence so predators walk on property grounds at night, really unsafe. Shower under the sky, real cold. Electric blankets only work till 10-11 pm.

We were welcomed by Sibo very warmly and feel from the beginning very comfortable. The check-in was a delicious iced tea at the bar, where we did all the check-in stuff in parallel - so it was not annoying at all, even at 34 degrees. Meanwhile our luggage was brought to our lodge. After a short breather, Sibo then took us to our lodge and explained the most important info. "Always lock the doors well when we you are not there, because of the bamboons".
With our guide/ranger Sorta we had great game drives where we saw lots of animals and also learned a lot as she was always imparting knowledge. She was very accommodating and we were able to stay a little longer with the different animals according to our wishes.
It was also great that we could specify an extra diet. We are both lactose intolerant and problems with the stomach would probably have spoiled this great experience for us. But we just always got a very good alternative, which made us very happy.
Thank you so much for this wonderful time with you!! We are already looking forward to returning one day.
Lovely regards, Claudia & Sebastian

The breakfasts were good, it was nice to have a choice between continental, English and the special.
Maybe a cooked oats/porridge option.
Your staff were all excellent extremely friendly and helpful. Our guides, Albino, Greg and James were excellent.
We both had our birthdays at the lodge and were spoilt by your staff.
The breakfast room's doors should be open always.
The food is good, but way too much, and could be simpler. The high tea should be much simpler as well. Our bush braai on the sleepout was great and should maybe be one of the meals at the lodge.

The location is excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts. We liked the "game drive bags" and the clear glasses for the evening drives are a winner. Have never been provided with these before.
Dinner service was slow. Would suggest that all the orders be taken ahead of time (not just the main course). The children were still waiting for their food at 8.45. Some areas need maintenance, especially the outside shower areas.

The accommodations are amazing, in the middle of the Kruger park, wild live rooming around and beautiful lodges, all the convenience one can hope for. The lodge has a great outdoor terrace and an amazing bathroom with outdoor shower. great staff and the food is plentiful and of high quality.
It lacks nothing!

A very well run safari lodge very close to Skukuza but away from the relative "busyness" of the area. The staff are all excellent and so friendly and helpful. Special mention must go to Chef Theresa and her fabulous meals and smiles. Also Lauren for sorting anything out that needed it. But most of all our guide Greg - we are seasoned Kruger visitors and thus birding is as important as the animals. Greg's passion for this made for a very memorable few days and we will certainly return as soon as possible.
It was all pretty much perfect really.

Breakfast was excellent. Perhaps Coffee creamer could be offered for those wanting it?
The room had a severe ant infestation. The second night we hardly slept. They were falling on us in their hundreds. Management were advised & the room was closed for further occupation until fumigation was done. Pity as this was a stunning room but having ants crawling all over you spoilt it for us.

I booked the trip for my parents who were celebrating their anniversary. The level of service was exceptional.
The staff was friendly and willing to go above and beyond to ensure that my parents really had the time of their lives.
