About this villa rental
Situated in Monterosso al Mare, this attractive villa for $210 per night is a great option for your next break. Splendid villa on 2 floors with an adjoining large terrace of about 25 square meters. with table and deckchair (as shown in the photo) with a wonderful sea view. The house is surrounded by a large and enchanting garden (see photos and read reviews) with olive, lemon and fruit trees. There is also a barbecue outside with wood available. It is ideal for those who want peace, silence, relaxation, total privacy. The distance from the beach, shops and restaurants is about 400 meters. The villa has a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds (see photo). Possibility of extra bed and cot. There are 2 separate bathrooms with shower. It is provided: bed linen and towels, air conditioning in each room, washing machine, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, gas cooker, toaster, microwave, water boiler and coffee machines. Important!! The rental price includes the free availability of internet line + Wi-Fi. Furthermore, considering that in Monterosso there is the impossibility of parking except for a fee (about 90 Euros per week!), a free parking space are available. Important: no deposit / bailment is required for any damage because you must have respect not only for people but also for things! It is suggested not to drink the water at home, even if it is usable for anything else. Bottles of mineral water as well as a few bottles of wine and various drinks will be made available. This will be my welcome.

The house is located above the town of Monterosso al Mare and has a beautiful terrace and garden. The view over the valley and the sea is magnificent.
It takes about 5-10 minutes walking downhill to the village.
The beds are good and there is air conditioning and mosquito nets in the bedrooms and in the living room as well, which was very pleasant.
From the villa you can easily visit the Cinque Terre.
Luigi is a very pleasant host who likes to ensure that his guests have a good time in his house.

We really enjoyed staying here in Monterosso. A short walk down to the beach or town from the house with its beautiful garden. Luigi was a fantastic host, making arrangements before we arrived and keeping in touch during our stay for information and advice. A great base for exploring the Cinque Terre with a magnificent view to wake up to every morning!

We had a very nice stay in this villa with a beautiful view over the sea and a fine terrace. The host was very friendly and helpful. The villa is near the center of Monterosso and a good starting point to visit the Cenque Terre villages.

This beautiful villa with it's amazing garden and surroundings was perfect for us, a family of four. Everything exceeded our high expectations and the host, Luigi, was so kind and helpful. For us, travelling by car, the free parking was very valuable. Everything you could possible ask for was available in the house and waking up to the stunning view and having breakfast outside was just perfect! The only problem is that you can't stay forever..

A good spot for a stay in Monterosso with a nice terrace. Its a fairly steep 15 minute walk up from the town but that is what gives you the view. Luigi is a friendly host and stays in contact through your stay.

Luigi was a wonderful host picking us up at the train station and bringing us back for our departure. He had water, juice and wine stocked in the kitchen for us. The lemon tree provided for fresh lemon water each day for our hikes. The property is a 7 minute walk to the town and 10 minutes to the train station on foot. Coming home you will work your legs a little 😊. Nothing like working off all that amazing food. We enjoyed coming home for a few cocktails before heading out to dinner. The view is wonderful as was the privacy and peacefulness. Grazie Luigi

We had a wonderful stay in Monterosso. Luigi’s house is so cosy and waking up to that view every morning was absolutely magical!
He was sure to communicate with us promptly, picked us up and dropped us off, so the luggage wasn’t an issue.

The best view in Monterosso! Mit Abstand der schönste Blick aus einem wunderschönen Garten 🪴
Das Haus von Luigi befindet sind etwas nördlich vom Fegina Strand ca. 10 Minuten fussläufig entfernt. Luigi begrüßte uns sehr herzlich trotz unserer 2 stündigen Verspätung und führte uns zum Haus. Er hatte auch schon ein Restaurant für uns reserviert, so dass wir am Abend sehr gut zu Abend aßen. Das Haus liegt in einem privaten Garten und der Blick von der Terrasse über Monterosso und drei weitere Dörfer der Cinque Terre ist unbeschreiblich! Das Haus ist mit allem Nötigen eingerichtet, besonders nützlich und quasi bei den hohen Temperaturen unverzichtbar ist die Klimaanlage und die Miskito-Netze vor den Fenstern. Wir sind jeden Abend zu den Restaurants gelaufen (Reservieren ist dringend empfehlenswert) und jeden Vormittag zu dem Strand (auch hier ist eine Reservierung der Sonnenschirme erforderlich). So kommt man locker auf über 10.000 Schritte pro Tag:-))
Zusammenfassend ein perfektes Haus in perfekter Lage mit perfektem Gastgeber. Wenn es 10 Sterne zu vergeben würde: 10 von 10 Sternen für Beide. Ciao Luigi bis bald 🥰

Loved Luigi’s place!
Everything about Luigi‘s place in Monterosso was wonderful. The house itself is stunning, as is the property. We loved sitting outside at the table on the patio and enjoying the amazing view of the sea. The house itself is very comfortable and well appointed, you feel as though you’re in your own home but better! The proximity to Monterosso is also fantastic, we enjoyed walking down to the beach and over to the old part of town. We loved every minute of our stay, and hope to go back someday.

Private gated road leading to property, and brick paved driveway parking. Just can’t say enough. I will absolutely be going back here, and recommend highly.

This property is set high above Monterosso. The house is comfy and the view is excellent! A short walk down into town to restaurants and the train.

Nice location, a few minutes walk from the beach. Beautiful garden with splendid views of the sea and surrounding hills. The airco kept the house cool and the beds were good. The kitchen is a little outdated but that didn’t bother us because Monterosso has many great restaurants!
Luigi brought us fresh water and juice and a very heavy watermelon, truly a kind host!
If you visit Monterosso during high season and you wish to go to the beach, please note that you have to reserve beach beds very early in the morning, because they sell out quickly.

Nice location, a few minutes walk from the beach. Beautiful garden with splendid views of the sea and surrounding hills. The airco kept the house cool and the beds were good. The kitchen is a little outdated but that didn’t bother us because Monterosso has many great restaurants!

Schönes Haus mit einzigartiger Sicht auf die Bucht.
Das Haus ist mit der Besitzerfamilie in die Jahre gekommen und nicht topchic, topsauber. Doch die Lage macht alles wett, außerdem ist der Besitzer (General der Marine a. D.!) supernett und ermöglicht alles. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, mit der Küchenausstattung kann alles gekocht werden, was das Herz begehrt und Waschmische, Wäschetrockner helfen Familien gewiss weiter.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Der Garten und die Terrasse mit Blick auf Berge und Meer sind phantastisch. Die Einrichtung im Haus ist zwar schon etwas älter, aber man merkt, dass es auch vom Eigentümer selber genutzt wird. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Sehr angenehm war, dass es zwei Bäder gibt, da wir mit zwei Paaren unterwegs waren. Luigi ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, der sich um alles rührend kümmert. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Beautiful villa with great views!
We enjoyed our week stay here which gave us time to explore the Cinque Terre from a comfortable home base. Luigi was an outstanding host and picked us up and dropped us at the train station which eased made our arrival and departure with luggage smooth. He was easily contacted and responsive. We had a great stay!

I cannot find any fault with the property, location or attention provided by the host Luigi and his lovely wife.
The photographs on the listing do not do justice to the fabulous surroundings and breathtaking views from all aspects of the property.
The location of the property just on the outskirts of the village is perfect in providing a respite from the hustle and bustle of the beach and promenade; but close enough to be in the centre of everything within 10 minutes walking.
Luigi is the most kind and helpful person you could wish to meet; no request is too difficult for him to overcome and his attention to detail is amazing.
The house is charming and the grounds are beautiful, tucked away in a safe and secluded position on the hillside that provides the most breathtaking views of the bay.
On arrival Luigi provided drinking water, wine and beer in the refrigerator with tea, coffee, sugar and other essentials in the cupboards. He also returned after a few days with more drinking water.
His level of advice and helpful hints of the surrounding area was extremely helpful - I cannot thank him enough for ensuring that our family holiday was an unforgettable experience - Gracie Mille Luigi - Ciao Amico!

What a fantastic place: Grazie Luigi
Luigi and his wife were wonderful, very kind and helpful, we never had such good hosts before. Luigi even bought a little swimming pool for our kids, we really appreciated that very much!!!
We spent one week with our two kids (6 and 8) in Luigi and Millys fantastic villa. It was high season, Monterosso al Mare was therefore very crowded, even more we appreciated the beautiful Villa and the superb garden. It became like a retreat from the crowds. The house itself was in an immaculate condition, very clean and tidy. The close proximity to the beach and the train station were perfect too, we never used our car in six days, we always walked or took the train, whenever we went out. Last but not least, the seaview from the huge terrace was stunning, we spent hours sitting on it, while our kids were able to run around in the garden.
We cannot stop saying it: grazie mille Luigi for your wonderful and warm hospitality!

Un très bon séjour
Nous étions une famille de cinq personnes et la maison est vraiment adaptée. Les deux salles de bains sont appréciables. La plage et le centre de Monterosso sont à 1 km à pieds par un petit sentier. Luigi est un hôte très accueillant et prévoyant. Des bouteilles d'eau, du vin, et de la bière nous attendaient à l'arrivée. Les draps et serviettes étaient en quantité suffisante. Le vrai petit plus: la clim et les moustiquaires dans chaque pièce, la terrasse avec une très belle vue mer et...le wifi pour les ados! Nous recommandons vivement

This place really made us enjoy our stay in Monterosso.
The location is fairly close to the beach but still away from the crowds.
Beutiful house with all facilities and an amazing view over the bay and mountains.
Its only a 10 minutes walk down to the beach but takes a bit longer uphill.
Luigi and his son in law picked us up and sent us to the train station. It all worked perfect and we enjoyed our days there.

Sehr schön und ruhig
Wir haben eine Woche im Haus von Luigi verbracht. Wir waren vier Erwachsene und ein Baby. Alles was wir brauchen war da. Das Haus hat einen grossen, gepflegten Garten. Die Schlafzimmer und der Wohnraum haben zudem eine Klimaanlage, welche bei warmen Temperaturen sehr angenehm war.
Auf der schönen Terasse mit Blick aufs Meer und die Küste der Cinque Terre lässt es sich wunderbar Frühstücken und essen, aber auch die Seele baumeln lassen. Am Abend konnten wir dem Schauspiel der Glühwürmchen und dem Quaken der Frösche beiwohnen.
Die Lage vom Haus ist am Dorfrand an etwas erhöhter Lage. Das Zentrum ist zu Fuss bequem in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Dort gibt es Einkaufsgelegenheiten, Restaurants und Cafes.
Der Gastgeber Luigi hat uns herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation war perfekt und sehr liebevoll. Auch war schon Wein und Wasser da und auch im Kühlschrank war eine Geste von Luigi - nochmals vielen Dank dafür! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Charming private villa just minutes from Monterosso
We had a wonderful stay at this villa in Monterosso. The host was exceptionally accommodating with our schedule and treated us like personal guests in his home. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the whole house including the lawn was ours during the rental period. We enjoyed the quiet privacy of this home and used a short trail to access the beach and town in 5 minutes. What a beautiful view from the patio!

A Little Piece of Heaven
Our stay was delightful. It was a little piece of heaven. The grounds around the villa are well kept and the house was comfortable. Although, it was a 15 minute walk from town, it was nice to get away at the end of the day. It would be hard to find a more peaceful setting.

"The villa is situated in beautiful surroundings with a view to die for. It is extremely private but not isolated (only a 5 minute walk to the town). Our only negative comments would be that the linen/bedding/towels/bathmats could do with upgrading to hotel standard; and an electric kettle would be an advantage. There is no oven in the villa but as we were mostly eating out this didn't prove a problem.

"We were looking for a house with a garden in the north-west coast of Italy that would give us enough privacy and peace, a view to the landscape and would not be far from the beach. In Monterosso we found everything we have expected.
The house, situated on the outskirts of Monterosso, is large and furnished enough and also airy which we really appreciated in the hot summer days. The garden is large and perfectly maintened, surrounded with green vegetation and old oliva and lemon orchards. Thanks to its position we could enjoy more fresh air than in the town. The nearest houses are aprox. 80 -100m. From spacious terrace we could enjoy a nice view to the bay and surrounding scenery. The beach is not far, aprox. 10 -15 min. on foot. The incline is moderate so even our 3,5 years old daughter was able to cope it.
In conclusion we spent here two really beautiful weeks. "
