Exceptional

This place is a gem. Best location in the city. It is an old charming building, but very clean and well kept for its age. The owners were fabulous. Highly recommend if you are physically able to walk up stairs.

Nothing. Loved it. Just know it is an older building so not accessible to all people; need to be able to walk up stairs.

Although the hotel is next to the Baseball Hall of Fame, it is not worth the price it costs to stay there.

It was clean and next door to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Very old, basic and outdated furnishings. The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioner had a difficult time cooling the room. The commode was too small to sit on and do your business.

Location, location, location! Staying at the Baseball Town Motel is right in the heart of town - close to everything you want to do in Cooperstown. I parked the truck Friday and didn’t start it again until we left on Sunday morning. Also, having stayed at other hotels in town with very small parking lots that were difficult to navigate with a truck, really appreciated the extra space at the Baseball Town Motel.

Thin doors and walls made it seem like we shared a room with our neighbors. They weren’t intentionally loud, but we could hear everything going on in their room. It was a minor inconvenience.

Very close to everything in Cooperstown. Never used our car once we arrived.

Rooms on Lower floor. I have trouble with stairs.

A great place to stay.

The proximity to the Baseball Hall of Fame and surrounding restaurants is the main reason we stayed. The comfort and cleanliness were bonuses.

There are a lot of stairs to to traverse to get to the second and third floors. No elevators. It may be tough for elderly or young kids. Fortunately, we were fine with them.

Good place for an overnight

Location, location, location! right next door to the Hall of Fame and in the middle of town. The staff was super friendly, and facilities, very clean.

Amazing

Took our two boys to Cooperstown and this is as close to the action as you can get. It’s right next door to the HOF and staff was extremely nice and accommodating. We meet the Wizard and Ted Simmons while we where there. This was a experience our boys will never forget.

Perfect it’s what you would expect from a small town motel. It worked and did exactly what it was intended to do.

We were awakened both nights by some very very loud people staying on our floor. Obnoxiously loud. No one to call to complain It was between 2-3 in the morning!!

Microwave and a second TV would have made me feel better about the rate verses the value. Overall had a great stay!!

I thought the family suite had two bathrooms, could use a TV in in one of the bedroom’s

average accommodations in a great location

location is fantastic owner is lovely

the motel could be really cool, really play into the baseball theme and aesthetic, and into the boutique well designed and appointed motel. Unfortunately, it’s not there yet. The suite we had was not what we have expected based on photos online and while basic is fine, this was a bit worse for the wear. hole in the couch, really uncomfortable mattresses on beds, tiny bathroom that wasn’t particularly clean. based on all the reviews read I was disappointed. the location can’t be beat, and the owner is lovely. I hope they can do a bit more upgrading to really make the motel shine.

Moderately priced hotel in an excellent location

The Baseball Town Hotel is an excellent location just steps from the hall of fame and restaurants. Parking is included, which is also very beneficial and convenient.

The bathroom was compact. It was clean and maintained, but space was minimal. Still, this should not be a deterrent for anyone staying here.
