The hotel enjoys an excellent location in the quiet yet central 7th arrondissement. Nearby are the Eiffel Tower, the Musée d'Orsay, the Rodin Museum, the Louvre, Boulevard Saint-Germain, the National Assembly, several Metro stations, and many other attractions.
The hotel itself is not very large, but it is clean, well maintained, and a solid four-star property. Our room was fairly compact, but quiet, spotlessly clean, recently renovated, and had a spacious bathroom.
The breakfast selection is not extensive, but it includes everything you need. The ingredients are fresh, of good quality, and everything is delicious.
The rooms and public areas are on the smaller side, but that's perfectly normal for central Paris and wasn't an issue at all.

I recently stayed at Hôtel Bourgogne & Montana for a week, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They accommodated all our requests with warmth, even arranging a private van to take us to Versailles and back, which was greatly appreciated.
The rooms were clean and comfortably cool despite the hot weather, which was a relief.
However, there were a few missed opportunities that could have made our stay even better:
No Mini Fridge – This was a big issue for us since we needed to store insulin pens that must be kept cool. The reception kindly offered to store them in a shared fridge, but that wasn’t ideal for privacy and accessibility. A simple empty mini fridge in the room would solve this problem without needing to stock it with drinks.
Missing Basic Amenities – While the bathroom had shampoo and body wash, there was no bar of soap or a glass for toothbrushes. Also, the room had a hairdryer but no iron or ironing board, which was inconvenient.
Cooking Smells – Every morning, strong cooking odors seeped into our room through the bathroom vents and hallway door. It was quite overwhelming, especially since we were on the first floor. Not sure if this affected higher floors as well, but it was unpleasant.
Despite these issues, the hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel stood out. With a few small improvements—like adding mini fridges, basic toiletries, and better ventilation—this could easily be a 5-star experience.
I’d still recommend staying here, especially for the wonderful staff and central location, but I hope the management considers these suggestions for future guests.
Would I stay again? Yes, but with the hope that these small upgrades are made.
