The parking lot is big which is a premium in Ireland. The hostess was wonderful and knowledgeable about the things to see in the country. It's right next to a restaurant and pub. Great location to stay and visit all north and south Kerry has to offer.

I enjoyed my stay at Castlemaine House B&B. It's an older place made into a cute air bnb. The best part was the hostess, she was so kind and helpful, she helped me out with a problem I was having. It's located in a small little town next to the river. There is parking on the premises. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was a little smaller, but shower was nice. There is a restaurant next door that I ate at one night, and it was yummy.

Even being very small, Castlemaine is a hub on several major roads of Co. Kerry, connecting the Kerry Airport, Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. It is just 13 km from the airport! The host met us as we arrived and showed us the room, which was excellent albeit a tad small. We got a perfect Irish Breakfast in the morning (paid extra). There is an excellent restaurant (Griffin's) and a grocery shop within several steps. Why ask for more? Highly recommended! (Note: the Castlemaine House also has a spacious car park).

Breakfast was okay.
Breakfast was not inclued in the price. Tried to call and send a txt msg about changing the check-in time, never got any answer. Old house.
