Lovely location by a lake with excellent views. The restaurant was particularly good and the staff friendly and efficient.

Beautifully furnished quirky hotel with rooms accessed via a spiral stone staircase in the tower. Breakfast served in the mezzanine overlooking the main dining room. Top class dining experience, with wonderfully presented flavoursome dishes. A vast and comprehensive selection of whiskey. Well appointed en-suite with modern fittings. Spacious bedroom with enormous comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and TV. Due to the hotels rural location we were very grateful for the frequent signs directing us once we had left the autoroute. Plenty of parking adjacent to the hotel. Lovely outside dining area overlooking the lake. The owner was very friendly and nothing appeared to be a problem including our lack French.
We didn’t see a lift, there may have been one out of sight I would advise for people with mobility issues to check availability of ground floor rooms or check if there is a lift. Only one extra pillow in the double room.

Beautiful location, excellent food, good value for money
The bedrooms and bathrooms are extremely dated and old-fashioned; definitely in need of modernisation.
The staff are efficient and businesslike but not friendly or welcoming.
