Excellent. Right across from the park so you can go see the iquanas that live in the trees and the black squirrels. There is also a pharmacy right around the corner, and many stores to look in and shop.

This is a lovely hotel is a perfect downtown location. The staff has always been friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. I always choose Hotel Castilla when I spend a night in David. I also appreciate the free underground parking.

This place is great for a stopover in David, and we will surely be back when that's required again. It is basic, but it doesn't claim to be anything more than that.
The breakfast choices were good, and we both enjoyed ours.
The staff were 10+ everywhere from the doorman to the restaurant, all superb, friendly and attentive.
The room, while basic, was clean with a comfortable bed, AC that worked. The shower was strong and hot.
The parking is a super plus 10 being underground, monitored, on site and included in the room price.
While it was a bit noisy in the late afternoon when we needed it, overnight, it was super quiet which came as a very welcome surprise.
Great value for money.
No Coffee/Tea in the room. There is easily enough room for that and a mini fridge which would have upped the score even more.
