Great hotel right near the overnight boats. Lovely room, comfortable bed. We even used the spa to an amazing head massage.

The staff were decent, but I feel they could benefit from additional training to better meet five-star standards. However, the package they offered—which included a one-hour cruise, half-day sightseeing, and a motorboat ride—was quite good. The staff handling these activities were also well-versed and managed everything efficiently.

Room privacy: About an hour after check-in, while we were resting in the afternoon, a staff member opened the door and walked in with another guest to show them the room, not realizing it was occupied. Although he apologized, this could have been handled more carefully from the doorway. AC issues: The AC was very noisy and disturbed our sleep. On the second night, it also stopped cooling around midnight, and we had to call the staff to fix it. Common areas: The corridors, common areas of the floors, and lift were very warm, with no fan or AC. Room smell: There was a noticeable smell in the room, possibly due to its proximity to the water body. This could be looked into and improved. * Spa experience: The spa centre was available on the premises, but the spa area - washrooms, and steam room did not appear very hygienic. So, we skipped the Ayurvedic massage, which I was most interested in, and opted for a head massage instead. Unfortunately, the seating, wasn’t suitable for a head massage, making it difficult for the therapist to work properly. The experience was more painful than relaxing and did not feel worth the money.
