About this apartment rental
A comfortable and well presented self-catering holiday apartment situated in a historic listed building overlooking the Royal Mile, just moments from Edinburgh Castle and situated just opposite St Giles Cathedral. The apartment is on the first floor and has its own unique private staircase entering directly onto the Royal Mile. This unique apartment has four large windows to the front where guests can sit and watch the ever changing bustle of the Royal Mile below. The apartment is well furnished and newly modernised and makes a lovely comfortable place to stay.

Excellent location. If you’re looking to explore the Edinburgh City Centre, I cannot recommend this place enough. Gaining entry the first time was a little quirky, but once you get the hang of it, it’s simple. Just a couple of minor notes: the parking option is helpful, but it’s not close (15-20 minute walk) and it wasn’t mentioned in the listing (understandably). The rubbish instructions were not great, and honestly, this shouldn’t be the responsibility of the person renting the property as long as rubbish amount is manageable (ie. one bag). A cleaning crew can handle one bag, especially given the far distance from the apartment to the rubbish location. Other than that, excellent place for a couple or two couples to spend some time in Edinburgh.

The apartment was great - nice size, quiet and comfortable bedroom. The location is unbeatable - could walk everywhere. I couldn't recommend it more. Would definitely stay again.

What a fabulous location!!! The front door is the only door to be used and it is right on the Royal Mile. The six or seven spiral steps were the hardest things for us to navigate once the door was opened. The flat is lovely with large picture windows letting in lots of light. There is a double bed in the bedroom with a kitchen table and stairs, two lounge chairs and a bookcase with books as well as a TV. I was there with my sister and we weren’t going to sleep together so one of us was using the sofa bed. Unfortunately, it was broken so we looked for the blow-up mattress to sleep on but it wasn’t in the flat. The owner did bring it to us after we phoned about it. The kitchen was lovely and well-stocked with plates, dishes, coffee and tea. The washer was such a wonderful addition!!! The drying racks were also very much appreciated. The bathroom was very nice but we had a difficult time regulating the water for a shower as it got intensely hot and then went to cold and back to hot as a cycle the wouldn’t stop. But we just took quick showers. Again, location was incredible and the proprietor was very attentive. The flat was super clean, too.
