At the end of a winding 1,5 km unmade road lined with heather, corbezzoli (strawberry trees) and oaks in the lovely countryside of the Crete Senesi is the Aia Vecchia di Montalceto farm, divided onto five apartments that have been made out of the careful restoration of Montalceto Estate which once upon a time was a famed thermal spa. Its waters were well known already in the 15th Century for curing arthritis and rheumatism. Each apartment furnished with antiques has its own entrance, and is equipped with satellite TV and Dvd player. On the ground floor of the main house there are a laundry, and the communal rooms equipped with stereo, satellite TV, Dvd player, table tennis, a small library, a piano and a well equipped kitchen. On request the owner will prepare typical Tuscan dishes for dinner (minimum 8 persons). A large garden equipped with outdoor furniture, barbecue, wood burning oven, mountain bikes, and a billiard room, are at the disposal of the guests. A 250 m cypress- lined path leads to the swimming pool with hydromassage (14 x 9 m, depth 1,50-2,10 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), the children's playing area and the bowling alley. Nearby is the owner's villa. Small size pets are welcome.
Main house divided in 3 apartments:

Apartment 1 on First floor, reached by an external stone staircase and loggia. Large sitting/dining room with kitchenette and stone fireplace with corner grill, two double bedrooms, bathroom with shower. A single bed can be added to the double bedroom.
Apartment 2 on two floors with ground floor entrance in a dining-room with fireplace from which a stone staircase leads to the first floor with kitchen, three double bedrooms one of which has an en-suite bathroom with shower, bathroom with shower. A single bed can be added to one of the double bedrooms.
Apartment 3 on two floors reached by a travertine staircase. FIRST FLOOR: sitting/dining room with kitchenette, three double bedrooms, bathroom with shower, bathroom with bath. ATTIC: double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, sitting room. A single bed can be added to the double bedroom (first floor).

Annex divided in 2 apartments:

Apartment 4 on two levels with spacious external area, for private use, with garden furniture and barbecue. GROUND FLOOR: entrance, small twin bedroom, large twin bedroom, bathroom with shower. FIRST FLOOR: small sitting-room, kitchen/dining-room, large double bedroom, bathroom with shower. A single bed can be added to the double bedroom.
Apartment 5 on two levels with external private area with garden furniture and barbecue. GROUND FLOOR: entrance, small twin bedroom, large twin bedroom, bathroom with shower. FIRST FLOOR: small sitting-room, kitchen/dining room, double bedroom, bathroom with shower. A single bed can be added to the double bedroom.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 800 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 350.
Heating Euro 5 per m3 (if used).
Small size pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
Tourist tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.

It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
