We loved our stay here. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The grill was perfect for cooking our salmon purchased at the Saturday farmers market. The location was great to our local destinations and being able to walk on the footpath at the nearby lake was very enjoyable. If I were to return to Alaska, I would stay here again. Gary was a great host and responded in a timely manner.

The place was quiet and worked for our basic needs. We had a hard time unlocking the doors on initial arrival because of multiple keys that fit the locks but of course only one worked the main entrance door. Host did not return inquiry about this. Overall, it was good basic lodging, but nothing special.
