The house was enormous. We highly recommend this for a group of four people, as only the two of us felt a bit lonely. Other than that, we have truly enjoyed our stay. Collecting keys from the hotel was a breeze. The house was clean and generally an enjoyable experience. We will definitely consider staying there again next time.
One downside was the location. The house did feel a bit too far from the main train station. Although there is a bus, we sometimes preferred walking. Another thing is the main door, which cannot be locked from the inside. As travellers this feels a bit unsafe.

Loved the traditional style house with renovated perks, cozy and clean. Smooth process of checking in and out. Nice staff at the check in office and free taxi transport to the house.
Walkable area of Kyoto, quiet neighbourhood.
