Me and my partner used the swimming pool outside twice just for a little swim and we had to pay extra 400,- CZK when checking out (100,- each for one swim).
Then We came back one day at around 8pm ready to relax in our room after a long day out in the town and the other guests (apparently the owners friends) were having a party very much right behind our door, so we had to wait untill 10 pm for them to turn the extremely loud music off.
Also the shower was looking really old and dirty and we didn’t have enough toilet rolls in our bathroom (2).
You could tell the other, older guests from Germany were getting a very different service from us as we are a very young couple. I still paid the same amount of money as the other guests (probably even more for the swimming pool), so I cannot see any reason why should I be treated differently.
I didn’t get any receipt when I paid for the swim and there were no prices written anywhere, so I’m guessing I just got ripped off.
While our last breakfast one of the cleaners came downstairs to the kitchen (which is located right next to the dining room) and started complaining to the owner about another cleaner which escalated into a very loud argument using curse words and being very nasty. Extremely unprofessional.
When we were leaving at 9.30 in the morning the owner was sitting outside with a beer and seemed to be quite tipsy already.
Definitely not a nice experience which honestly ruined the whole holiday in lovely Frantiskovy Lazne.
We will not come back.
