Thirroul Beach Motel

Great position to walk to the theatre and shops.

Bathroom is a little old. Shower curtain.

Staff were great and accommodating. Room was fine and everything was where it should be and working. Close proximity to local beaches and amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops etc..

Nothing stood out that made me think anything was bad.

Great location for the rock and roll seventies surfie vibe. A reminder that building and plumbing standards have precipitously declined in Australia. i.e. there's a proper walk-in tiled shower with no stupid metal edges or steps to cause injury; a sensibly shaped basin that actually lets the water drain away, can be kept clean and doesn't leave a soap scum on the flat bottom. Taps that are easily comprehended so that one doesn't scald oneself or stand there freezing for minutes on end. Interesting juxtaposition of decoration styles.

Where were the sachets of seventies cereal favourites to take home a.k.a. breakfast. Didn't see any staff. Are there any?

Fantastic location in walking distance to the theatre and shops. The bed was very comfortable.

Cleanliness of room not exactly top notch, especially in hard to get to places. The bathroom very small and very cold. Provisions lacking.
