Everything was amazing from the moment we landed in Puerto Maldonado to the moment they took us back. The collection was smooth, the food was delicious, the excursions were incredible, and the lodge itself was both comfortable and beautiful. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay.
A special shout‑out to Freddy — the best guide we had in all of Peru! He made the experience unforgettable for us as a family.

First and foremost our tour guide Samuel made this trip for us. He took us to everything we signed up for and provided us his binoculars and telescope and we saw so much more with him as our guide. He was also excited for every animal we ran across and his love of the nature came through.
The cabin we were in was perfect for a couple and great size.
You are both close to the town (20 minute boat ride) but also right in the rain forest. Don't need to go far to see anything. Lunch and dinner was excellent.
This is not on the place but food is served at set times and as a buffet style but with a set amount they make. The issue is other guests that decide to grab way too much food and don't leave enough for others. Hard to police that sort of thing but just an annoying aspect of people only thinking of themselves. Tour guides also eat last which means they only have whatever is left available to them.

The experience was incredible. I feel Ike the property was set up to really experience the jungle. The staff and guides were perfect. Our guide, Fernando was very knowledgeable and kept the tours informational and relatable.
