We stayed at the hostel on and off for roughly a week and a half, and at every turn they were unbelievably helpful. Whether it was helping us book and organise transfers and trips, or sending us on our way for a 5am flight with a packed lunch we hadn’t even asked for, they really went above and beyond.
All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and always happy to chat. The rooms were bright, comfortable, well decorated and really homely, with very comfy beds. The toilets and showers were always spotless, and the breakfast was delicious.
We felt so welcome throughout our stay and couldn’t recommend this place more. A huge thank you to everyone who looked after us!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Yellow House and would definitely come back! I had a room with a private bathroom. It was comfortable and just what I needed as a solo traveler. I loved eating breakfast on the beautiful roof terraces with views of the volcanoes. The receptionist, Guadalupe, is an absolute gem - very sweet, helpful, and kind!
There is very little to complain about! If you have mobility issues, be aware that there are stairs to get to some of the rooms. Also note that some of the rooms might be small for more than 1 person, but others are plenty big!

Very cozy very clean. I stayed in the hostel for a few days. Didnt use the bathroom much, but everytime i went, someone was cleaning. So cleanliness is definitely outstanding.
The stay was so good that I booked another night with them.
