Anna and George were extremely welcoming and friendly hosts. We went as a group of family and friends and we had a memorable week. The house was amazing and had everything that we needed, brilliant facilities, very clean and a spectacular view. We loved it!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Giovanta in Crete. From the moment we arrived, Anna and George made us feel incredibly welcome, greeting us with a cold rakija by the pool – the perfect start to a relaxing holiday.
The villa itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, and clearly very well maintained. There was plenty of room for everyone to unwind (8 of us) and the layout made it feel both comfortable and private. The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset, and quickly became one of our favourite parts of the stay.
A lovely touch was that the villa was decorated with Easter decorations, which made our stay feel even more special and memorable.
It’s also a great base for exploring western Crete. The charming town of Chania is just a 25-minute drive away, perfect for wandering through the old harbour and enjoying local restaurants. We also took trips to Imbros Gorge for a scenic hike and the breathtaking Balos Beach, both well worth the drive.
The only slight drawback was that the evenings were still a bit too chilly for us to fully enjoy the outdoor dining area and pool as much as we would have liked. That said, it didn’t take away from what was overall a wonderful experience.
We would definitely recommend Villa Giovanta to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with warm and thoughtful hosts.
We love to cook and the kitchen was a bit small.
