Very beautiful building, although without name whatsoever. Maybe its size makes up for it 🤔. Long story short, the building is an architectural marvel, kudos to the architects. There is a fine balance between metal, wood, glass and vegetation all throughout the property. The reception girl on arrival was kind, although a bit overworked. The Spa is a very nice and necessary addition. The temperature in both the hammam and finish saunas are excellent. Good shower comsmetics. The only downside are the rather restrictive working hours, only from 16:00 till 21:00. Should be 22:00, at least.
- There are some members of staff who are rude and don't speak a word of English. They tarnish the image of the hotel.
- The water in the swimming pool has some acid smell and sticky texture. No idea what it is, maybe some chemical. It is clean otherwise.
- No long chair anywhere in the Spa
- You won't find most of things you find in 4 star hotels such as bathrobe or toothbrush but that doesn't matter.
- The breakfast was quite a disappointment. Very limited choice of everything. Pancakes not available every day. Not a SINGLE natural juice. There is no Nutella, but some cheap inedible local stuff. Staff eating in the same area after guests. Very early finishing time at 10:00.
- The personnel at check-out was total chaos, a bit chubby girl. I wanted to extend my stay, shown my reservation. She insisted on changing me the room, to another room of the SAME type, cause there is some group coming 🤦. I don't understand, what is the difference if the rooms are exactly the same, except that i'm gonna spend 1 hour moving rooms? She had it written in the system which room goes where and she just wouldn't do otherwise, she was just mentally stuck. At the end i was really disgusted by her handling of the situation that i simply cancelled my reservation. That's 100 Euros less for the hotel due to her disorganization and inability to think clearly & improvise.
- The card in the room is necessary for EVERYTHING to work. Even A/C plugs. Meaning, if you left your mobile/laptop to charge while you're on the beach, on the brekfast or on a walk - tough luck, it'll be as empty when you come back.

The property's views overlooking the sea and pool were pleasant, offering a relaxing ambiance.
Always willing to assist, the staff added to the overall positive experience.
The hotel pool was great and well-kept.
Access to the private beach was a definite highlight.
Additionally, the property's proximity to the city center made it easy to explore the area.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with the amenities enhancing the experience.
The availability and strength of Wi-Fi left much to be desired. It wasn't available on the beach, and its weakness in the restaurant made connectivity challenging.
Upon arrival, the non-functioning shower was a letdown. Although the hotel staff fixed it promptly the next day, the initial inconvenience was disappointing.
Another aspect that fell short of expectations was the condition of the bed sheets. Stains on the sheets were a recurring issue and diminished the overall comfort of the stay.
While there were certainly positive aspects to my stay, these drawbacks marred the experience to some extent.

The staff were absolutely incredible and a total joy to deal with. They are a credit to this hotel and they made me and my family so welcome. We are from the UK and this was our first visit to Sarande and I am so happy that we chose this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful! They even upgraded our room, giving us a room with a view, thank you for that.
Athena and Sophia were amazing, so friendly and caring. I used the spa and the service was great.
The room is great, good bathroom, great shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC worked well.
The breakfast was amazing, a lot of options and everything was delicious.
The restaurant and the bar accepts credit cards (this is important to mention since in Albania they mostly use cash).
The location is also good, 15 minutes walk from the port.
The bar and restaurant needs more options and the staff could be more attentive.
The tv was basically a computer screen.

Andon Lapa is awsome. Its been my 4th time in Saranda and i can say Andon Lapa is the best hotel in Sarande.
Its really familar, friendly and full of heart. The location is perfekt and top in the middle of the hotel route.
And last but not least;
The People who work there, are 500%
SOFIA, Greidi, Mariklen, even all of them are Phenomen... Thx for the great time and the awsome Service.

The property was beautiful. The location was very close to everything you could need or want to experience in Sarande, while still being private and a quiet oasis from the loud music and bustling Sarande promenade. The private beach was a huge bonus.
The gym was brand new and had more equipment than your average hotel, you could get a serious workout in, if you wanted to.
The staff offered to pick us up from the ferry terminal and drop us off at the bus station which made our arrival and departure a breeze.
We felt very spoiled staying here and would definitely return.
It is obviously a very family and kid friendly hotel. Not a complaint at all, but if they were an adult only hotel, it would have made using the pool a bit more relaxing.

At the beginning we were greeted very nicely by the ladies at reception. We were even more positively surprised because we were given a better room and one with a sea view. Rooms new in high standard. Very good Wifi in whole Hotel. Spacious bathroom. Rooms clean. Cleaning lady very friendly. Breakfast overlooking the sea. Amazing view. Location perfect. Grocery shop on site. As for the beaches it is one of the best in Saranda. Spacious and large. Fully equipped gym. Drink bar on the beach. To the promenade in saranda 10min by walk. Several very good restaurants on the same street on the way to the promenade. A very good pizzeria in front of the entrance. Thank you for your hospitality!
To be improved but that is not necessarily:
- extra Room for ironing clothes or iron in every room.
- Breakfast cuisine can be improved very easily, e.g. more cold meats, some salads etc.

Everything was really great. The accommodation is clean, the staff are friendly (I would highlight Melanie) and very kind. We got a room with a sea view, even though it was not that one booked. 😊

It was lovely. My room was exceptional.
I didn’t like that there is a lot of workers always sitting around doing nothing and they weren’t very friendly or attentive. Besides the girls at reception, they were glorious.
I feel for the price there are a few things that should be more streamlined.

The staff was more than welcoming! They made sure that we were always comfortable and even help us out with a flat tire! The hotel itself is very good, clean and in an amazing location. Definitely recommend this place!

the AC in the room doesn’t work, making it very difficult to sleep at night, and also no telephone in the room making it hard to connect with reception.
breakfast is kind of basic for a 4* hotel.
when we arrived, since it was off season, the pool was unavailable and there were no sun beds in the beach, which was very unfortunate.

Big balcony and the best view. Location is alright with free parking slot. The manager is so helpful.
The worst breakfast. The time given is from 8-10. But when you arrived 9am, literally nothing on the table. They should have calculated guests and make breakfast according to it.
My next door neighbours were so noisy and the rooms were not so soundproof at all.

For 3 years a regular tourist. Lapaj Hotel fullfills my family needs. Excellent staff, delicious food. Extra facilities. CLeaned rooms every day.Affordable prices. Great atmosphere. Lovely city and relaxing time thanx to Lapaj. Breathtaking views overlioking the clear blue sea and Corfu. Easily accessed and an unforgetable experience.
