Flushing village was lovely and the property was close to facilities like the village shop and two pubs. The ferry over to Falmouth was also close by. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was cosy and modern. We were very pleased to have a washing machine and a washing line- a necessity by the sea! The bathroom had a great shower. Lucy the local host was exceptional and couldn't do enough for us.
The bed in single room could have done with a mattress topper as it was a bit uncomfortable. The garden was a little overgrown so it was more tricky to sit out there.

Proper home from home feeling. The cottage had all the facilities we needed, lots of kitchen equipment, including a thoughtful picnic bag that could be borrowed. A smart television we used for a radio and a wood burner which was very nice to sit in front of at the end of the day. Easy to find and although the parking may not be directly outside there is plenty of space along the road so was never an issue.

Great Location
Incorrect code provided by Booking.com.Luckily communications from Sykes cottages provided correct number.No welcome pack, such as milk /tea/coffee which would have been very useful if you were late arriving, as the only shop would be closed
