We have visited Le Relais several times before and find it the perfect place to break a regular journey north from the Languedoc to Coquelles. It is close to the motorway, the rooms are clean, well equipped and air-conditioned, which was especially important this time. It is a Logis de France; we choose them when we can rather than the more impersonal chains.
The staff are attentive, welcoming and friendly.
We always enjoy the restaurant. The menu is varied and also offers the exceptional salad buffet, fresh and delicious. Of course, being in Pouilly, there is an excellent wine list as well as the option to have local wines in a jug (pichet).
If the Relais had a pool, I would score it 10/10!
