A basic room and bathroom in a nice old building of this sumptuous lakeside town. Fine for one night.
Room a bit cramped with no seating area, up steep stairs. No parking—the paid public parking is 500m away. Convoluted checkin—you first need to drive to a business hotel outside the town centre to pick up the keys.

We stayed at the hotel dependance, right in the middle of Orta. Modest room with all the essential for a quick escape.

The room was basic but comfortable.It was exceptionally good value. The buffet breakfast included in booking was outstanding.
This was the biggest problem of any Booking.com booking I have made.This was the registration process.I was contacted by the hotel to drive to the Hotel Christina on the edge of town to register and they would tell me where to park near my unit downtown.However i was arriving by train so they suggested I walk to that location.The narrow road i walked had no sidewalks and heavy traffic and buses.Once i got there registration was fine and i asked them to call a taxi to take me the unit a considerable distance away and I have a disability walking.There are only two taxis in town and none were available until next day.They then suggested i stay at that hotel but weather was great and i had plans downtown .After i complained bitterly the Manager drove me down town in her car
clearly this hotel of rooms downtown does not work for people arriving by train.
