No toilet door, no privacy.

great location, very near everything, museums, restaurants, friendly owner, comfortable bed- if travelling light, on your own, with no car would be okay.

4 things, no toilet door just a curtain, we as a couple for more than 25 years still felt uncomfortable, at night room noisy as right above restaurant, very long steep staircase, and as we had luggage for an extended trip it was a difficult climb. But our real issue was the street parking, there really was no parking for miles as arrived on a busy Saturday and even when we left on a quiet Sunday morning we only saw a very few spaces within walking distance. We ended up parking at a car park (paid) out of the centre and dropped our bags with me waiting on my own ( no luggage storage) until my husband walked back to join me.

It was clean with a nice location. We arrivered late (7:30 pm) but the host sent information on how to get in to the room beforehand

There was no door to the bathroom, just a sheet, and the bed was very hard.

right smack in the middle of old town, good AC, a bit tricky to get to by car but that was taken into account for. Would definitely stay here again, crystal clear instructions were texted to my phone.

It is good for people to know about steep stairs and lack of possibility to stop in the street outside but we knew about this already.

Great location in the old town center. Old building with modern apartments. The facility has a good restaurant outside of the building, so you can have lunch or dinner there. The room is big enough. Good bed and shower, good internet.

Major black mark was no door on the ensuite bathroon/wc, just a curtain Secondly the toilet flush was extremely temperamental. Lastly the stairs: quite formidable. We coped but in a couple of years time(we are in our seventies) we wouldn't probably. And we were only on the 1st floor!

The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable--impressively renovated for an older building. There was no sense of "old" in the room. The location was great--just around the corner from Napoleon's birthplace/museum, and close to lots of bars and restaurants. It is a little complicated to find, but ask at the bar with the same name and they will direct you to the entrance.

The biggest negative: a long, and somewhat steep, set of stairs to reach the landing where the room is located and no elevator to help you. Not recommended if you have heavy luggage as there will be nobody at the site to help. You will also have to walk 15 minutes or so from the bus station/train station/ferry port to get to the accommodation--not a deal breaker, but be aware of it.
