The staff were very friendly at this hostel, I had conversations with many of them while I was there. They helped me figure out bus timetables and rent an ebike, and often asked how my day was. I was kindly given local melon for free when I was in the common space.
The common space was large and nice for meeting other travellers, some other Australians and kiwis were there during my stay.
Even though I was in a shared room, I had a room all to myself and a standard bed, as opposed to a bunk.there was a nice view of trees.
The ebike rental service is a great opportunity, it's a good way to experience the rural back roads and lakes.
It was roughly a forty minute walk into Teshikaga town, and too far to get to Lake Mashu, but I was able to carpool in both directions with other guests. The buses go infrequently, and as I didn't have a car this made it challenging to see the local areas. My hitchhiking experiences as a solo female all felt safe.
The pillows weren't comfortable to sleep on.
The kitchen facilities were limited, I made pretty basic meals.

スタッフの皆さんがとにかく良かったですし、水回りがとても綺麗。談話室での交流も楽しかったです。
時期的なものもあると思いますが、湿度が高く布団がじめっとしてしまっていた。
