The location was perfect.. away from the madness of St Marks Square but close enough to walk to the main attractions. It was close to Via Garibaldi .. a lovely street full of bars and restaurants and to a vaparetto stop. There was a lovely bar closeby where you can watch the sun set over Venice.
Although the bathrooms were shared we never had to wait to use them. The room was spacious and clean with a view down the adjacent canal .
Communication with the host was difficult as she spoke no English. Any message I sent wasn't answered but I did receive automated responses not always relevent to the question I had asked.
When we arrived our room wasn't ready even though we arrived when asked to. We had to return a couple of hours later. We sent a message asking if we could leave our luggage for a few hours after checking out but didn't get a response until it was too late.
We were unable to lock our door from the inside as the lock didn't work but there was noone on the premises to tell and as communication wasn't great I didn't report it.

The location couldn't be better! Room is spacious enough for two (there was even a third bed), and had a small table I could use for work. Friendly staff.
There is no sign outside the building. The entry code sometimes takes several attempts.

Location, size of the room are good
It was too cold for me. I could not have any support even though I shared it with staff. Sound isolation was another issue. I was disturbed by noise many times at night.
