Accommodation nicely situated on a farm/riding stable. Quiet! Kilarney national park! Ring of Kerry

Very nice and quiet location. Farm/riding stables. Inside Kilarney national park. Ring of Kerry is on your doorstep. Nice breakfast included.

What great property!

What a beautiful location, peaceful and so close to Killarney. The lady of the house was exceptionally friendly and breakfast was great with fresh fruit, assorted breads, yogurt etc. I was sorry to leave and I would definitely stay here again.

Charming place to stay

Muckross riding stables is a charming place to stay surrounded by green space. It's a very homely place to stay with family pictures on the walls. We had lovely conversations with the owners learning about their history and love for their animals.

There is no iron and ironing board available to guests. They very kindly allowed us to use one out back but it would be helpful to provide one or two to guests as it's a popular spot for weddings.

Great location for Killarney National Park

Lovely, friendly, family environment. Beautiful location. Just outside of Killarney and great location for the National Park which it’s in. Comfortable beds, good shower, lovely and clean. Nice continental breakfast.

- the dogs, horses, the cat and bunnies - there were so many deers on the field nearby

I feel like we were barely there, but we did appreciate the welcome from Patricia !

The beds were extremely comfortable and having the ensuite was an unexpected bonus. Good value for money. Our hostess Patricia was very accommodating when we asked to check in early to change clothes for a wedding.

Someone ( it could have been ourselves because we were rushing ) left the bedroom window open and the room was a little buggy when we got back. There was also a large spider in the shower. What can I tell you, we're city girls! No harm, no foul.

Amazing and relaxing place!

Amazing experience in a beautiful, relaxing and natural place. The service was really really good, the family is absolutely kind and helpful, rooms are small but comfortable and they offer a delicious breakfast. The place is amazing, and you're surrounded by nature and also amazing horses. Our staying was over 5 stars!

Just a little bit far from the city, but if you have a car it's not a problem!

Everything was good, very quite, just it is not easy to find it with Google map, it is no shower gel and shampoo in the shower so it is very unusual. Breakfast was very poor.. so good value of money but quit poor for 2022.sorry.

amazing property. loved the location and the feel of a farm stay with all the animals around.

breakfast was very minimal.. just toast and cereal with some futures fruits with coffee or tea. room heater wasn't working. blankets were not very comfortable and a bit prickly.

Exceptional

The location is very good, nice and peaceful, would suit ideal for a family with little children. As part of the stay we saw the stables with horses (our children could pet them), sheep (in the field from distance), as well as rabbits and 2 absolutely adorable lively puppies that our 8 y.o. daughter couldn't get enough of.

Location was lovely, great views. My daughter enjoyed visiting the puppies,horses and rabbits. Owner lovely lady,helpful and friendly. Staff at breakfast, helpful and friendly too.

The host were very nice, agreed to look after our bag while we went trekking for a week. Also bought gluten free food for us (we asked in advance)

It's out of town so if you don't have a car with you, you have to take a taxi or arrange some other sort of transportation

Location was great , room lovely and like the play area for children and the horses

The breakfast could have been better ! Pastries not as fresh as they could be ! Very Small bowels of cornflakes for adults !

Disappointed & would not recommend

Bed linen was clean.

Host manner was abrupt and very unreasonable. Very poor breakfast that was inadequate. Grounds of premises poorly maintained. Playground very shabby.Decor of house very outdated and stale odour in hallway. No key for bathroom and no internet connection. Entrance gate not lighted and had to be manually opened/ closed. General grounds very unkempt Poor standard.

For the nature lovers who want some quiet time

Great location in the woods and close enough to Muckross Park. The room was clean and comfy.

There was nobody at the reception when we checked out so we missed the take away breakfast on our last day. For people with children, this is not a pet farm so don't expect close contact with the animals nor get a horse ride. Smallies can however enjoy animals at the Traditional Farms in the National Park.
