The property is in excellent condition and the food is amazing
Another guest scared our young children as they were roaming around the dining area. She shouted at them to a point where my wife started crying. All that because the kids were not in a highchair according to her taste. Do not take your children here it's not a family hotel.

Nice hotel in the countryside, 15 km or so from Marburg.
Nice views over the landscape.
We had dinner in the restaurant. Very good food and pleasant staff.
The restaurant terrasse is a bit noisy due to the expressway running in the valley.
The breakfast was OK, except for the scrambled eggs, which were not to my taste. I asked the staff who said it was due to the use of pasteurised eggs - as in so many places ( a pity, though), but not a big deal.

Vibe and style especially the garden outside
Lots of small details not in place which should be a given for a four star hotel
(Restaurant waiting time, batteries in remote, no paper towels on men’s toilet, small cockroach in restaurant, no paper cup for coffee to take after breakfast, no toiletries (no conditioner), service speed and attention in the restaurant for dinner
All small things, but compared to other 4-star places this is what it needs to compare itself with.

No English spoken. No staff after 1800. Mattress was very hard.
