We loved everything about Mamapan. Most importantly the security of the building and the breakfast was delicious!!!

THE SHOWER HEAD DIDNT LIKE IT CAUSE IS ON THE CEILING HAD IT WASH MY HAIR ALL THE TIME, BUT EVERYTHING WASA GREAT EXCEPT THE CABLE DIDNT WORK..

The staff were so lovely!! They really value customer service and so would go out of their way to please you!!! They are very nice people!! I liked the cooking staff as they did notice that we didn't eat all our breakfast one morning and so offered us an alternative which was very observant of them and thoughtful. The young man at the front desk was a pleasure to see and talk to (with the help of google translator, hee, hee)

Convenient location for driving to/from Guatemala. Hotel is located in the centre of town, next to the town square, which was full of people and stalls on the Saturday I visited. Friendly and helpful staff. Hot shower, good aircon and WiFi. No car park, but I had no difficulty finding a parking space on the street.
I probably should have realised this, but the room I stayed in had no windows to the outside, just a small window facing into the lounge area. Bit noisy at times with kids in the lounge area watching TV on their tablets.
