The view was the overriding winner.

The apartment was tired, but considering it’s on an island with a limited supply of everything, it was easy to overlook this.

Just loved the location, as the views from our unit were over Kingston towards Phillip Island, and we could see the changing weather and different colours of the ocean. Only 5 minutes to Burnt Pine. Beds were comfy, and self catering was easy with a large fridge, stove and plenty of utensils. The manager was kind enough to let us have a late checkout, too, as our flight was not until after lunch.

The unit was a bit dated, with a rather small bathroom to cater for up to 4 guests. windows were a bit grimy, spoiling the view. There was no mirror in the main bedroom, which was a surprise.

The location overlooking Kingston was perfect and the view was incredible. I also appreciated our host who let us check out late as our flight was at 3:40pm. The kitchen facilities were great. It was nice to be able to sit on the verandah and enjoy the ocean views.

Nothing really - the hotel is old and the carpets have seen better days. There was a bit of a damp smell when you first enter the apartment.

Did not like accommodation as I booked a 2 room apartment & and it was accepted. I also was communicating with owner, never once did he say that I wasn’t getting the 2 room apartment. On our arrival I was told by owner that there was a mix up in booking. Instead of a 3 room apartment we got 2 seperate 1 bedroom apartments. I would not have booked in that location otherwise as it was a fair way out. Extremely disappointed!

Lots of traffic noise. Uncomfortable furnishings. Not properly cleaned.
