The family are super helpful and have a wealth of local information. Darnell, the son is a great guide, jumping on the back with him for a day was so good.
The room at the front could have better curtains so you feel a bit more privacy at night.

+ The owner Ricardo is very attentive and engaged person. It is great homestay is actually his home. He has good stories and is nice to talk to
+ It was clean and smelled nice in the room
+ Location was convenient
- Hard to accommodate any dietary restrictions (we asked 3 times for no bread and we got egg on bread anyway)
- Very noisy place. Close to the street and mosque. We had room next to bathroom and breakfast place so we couldn’t sleep much as all the time there was some noise around. Mosque is extremely loud and close - not owner’s fault of course but just to be aware
- Room was super tiny, we could fit our backpacks
- Bathroom could be improved
