Wow. Soo pretty with all the gardens and views of the mountains and village. The cabins are adorable as well. Mine was enormous. I was comfortable and it’s too bad I was only there for one night. There’s a nice little private porch. The owner and her staff are quite nice, speak English fluently, and are informative. Loved how there were menus, food delivery option, and things to do in Ruteng all in the room for you to look over and make decisions in your own leisurely time. Coffee and refillable water are available in the common area. The whole place is very clean and well maintained. The value for money is pretty good.
The headboard was broken and separated from my bed. So be careful sitting up and leaning back in bed when you’re reading or on your phone.
Speaking of phone, the WiFi doesn’t reach to that particular bungalow. But thankfully my cellular data had a signal.
The hot water tank is quite small. I have long, really thick hair so I ran out as soon as I finished my hair wash and took a cold shower to finish bathing.

Beautiful location, extremely welcoming. Udis is a gem who can help with finding excellent drivers and is a mine of local information. The dining area is a great place to connect with other travellers. It’s just a 30min walk from town, but the guesthouse will serve dinner and lunch if you order before hand.

View of the mountains from property, host is kind. We booked a room that had a very unpleasant smell so we asked for another room and got a room upgrade without any problems.
The price is just to high for what acomodation offers. The room and bathroom were dirty. The bathroom needs some renovation. Wifi did not work in the room. These are things that I think could be fixed. But we were most confused about the visitors' rating, which is close to 9. I agree that the host is friendly but here you need to rate everything (room, breakfast, host, location etc.)
and not just the hospitality. Unfortunately, we expected much more from the accommodation due to the opinions of other visitors and were misled and therefore so much disappointed.
