A lot about Miramonti is to be liked.
Decor is very smart, both in the public areas and the bedrooms, whilst also preserving the historic aspect of the building
Huge bed was comfortable.
Sky channels a bit of a bonus for time spent in the room.
Andrea on reception in particular is a very helpful and engaging man.
The location for access to the centre of Rieti is perfect.
Daily Housekeeping very good.
Continental breakfasts offer a decent choice of cereals, charcuterie pastries and cakes.
If you need wi-fi of any kind - let alone the high speed wi-fi in the room that was specified on our booking confirmation - this isn't the hotel for you. Wi-fi was very poor, inaccessible more than it was able to be used. The hotel - Andrea - moved us from our original room to one he hoped would be better wi-fi reception. It was marginally better but not to any significant extent. It's a shame when you are in a foreign country and need to be communicating with family at home - or even just trying to find out more about the locality.
Booking.com - please stop saying rooms at Miramonti have high speed internet. They just don't and your customers will be disappointed in you too - as we are on this occasion.
The only meal we had in the restaurant was a case of two extremes. My pasta was perfectly cooked to my liking and absolutely delicious. My wife's chicken was abysmal - she even asked the waiter to try and cut the liver element as it was so tough she was struggling to. We had much better food everywhere else we ate.

Beautiful location in the heart of Rieti with a magnificent views. If you are looking for a Hilton, Sheraton super comfortable and accommodating experience look elsewhere, but if you want to have an authentic experience, this is a hotel for you.

They told us that we would be staying outside of the property because of maintenance. We were not staying outside of the property because of maintenance, it was because they overbooked. We had a group that required six rooms. They told us that we would all be in the same location. However, our group was in four different locations a kilometer away from each other. Some of the locations did not have air-conditioning. And then for the second night we had to move into the hotel. They were misleading, and it was a terrible experience.
