It was beautiful, but noisy.

Staff was welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is located too close to the road causing road noise affecting peace and restfulness. Food was so so.

Best adults only resort at La Fortuna! 10/10

The staff really go above and beyond. The pools and jacuzzis were really great & we always had one to ourselves. The room had the most amazing clear view of the volcano. The beds were super comfortable. Parking was always available. Wifi was never an issue. The food was great too (best chicken wings ever, hands down) There's just nothing that this place lacks. We were highly impressed and had a wonderful stay. Thank you all so much for making our stay great and my birthday special with the balloon, decorations and treats. Thank you again!!!

Don't wait just book itttt

The hotel staffs were amazing and very accommodating. The hotel is clean and service was amazing. Breakfast had variety and the juice were freshly made. I had a great time and would definitely recommend. Also, the resort is close to major restaurants and shops. The room was decorated for my boyfriend's birthday and free desserts was delivered to our room. Thank you Royal Corin:)

I really enjoyed my stay but if I could change anything it would be how far the resort was from the airport..over 3hrs drive:(

Exceptional stay

The staff is absolutely exceptional! They even remembered my name after a 1 night stay. The spa was thoughtfully designed for a beautiful, relaxing experience. One of the best spas I have been to. The main pools were great-was only missing the steam in the sauna... The view and ambiance of the upstairs dining facility was perfect!

Didn't have a great view of the volcano from my room and decor is a bit outdated.

5 Star Start to Finish

I loved the thermal pool area and all the lush greenery. the property is well maintained! Additionally the service was impeccable. We were immediately greeted upon arriving. they provided welcome drinks and cool towels to wipe yourself. check in staff were professional and explained everything about property top to bottom. they also knew we were departing early and prepared breakfast boxes for us. they continually checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was to our liking. also the Loto spa hot stone massages were wonderful. I would not hesitate to return

Absolutely relaxing and had the best time

Breakfast was outstanding-the presentation & the quality of the buffet choices were exceptional. The area was serene & tranquillizing. Most impressive was the staff; everyone was so pleasant & respectful. You could tell that they were genuine & it wasn’t an act or forced. My husband and I have traveled a lot & both felt this was the best staff Ever in our history of vacations. The dining on or off site was splendid-every restaurant recommended the food was great & affordable

Would definitely recommend - good value for money.

The food is excellent across the board. Lunch and the food in both restaurants was of a high standard.

They have an odd authorisation system which meant that it took an age for them to bring wine to the restaurant. This needs to be improved. Other than that, the staff were very friendly and the food and service at the pool bar was excellent.

Luxury in front of Arenal Volcano.

The staff, in general, were so friendly and ready to help with any issue. The hotel has a great view to Arenal Volcano that is right in front. Thermal waters in every pool. And a great breakfast buffet.

The parking area is a little bit small in front of the reception, but they have some place for parking at the entrance of the property. Anyway, it is nothing to worried about.

Nice place to meet guys and have fun at weekends

It’s a good location hotel, have a beautiful sightseeing from rooms and pool. Good breakfast, it is not buffet but it’s tasty. You can meet some guys.

It has a lot stairs to move, the pool doesn’t have warm water. The hotel is old fashioned.

Overall, I would say this felt like a 4 star hotel, not a 5 star one.

Great breakfast. Stunning setting and attentive staff. The pools were very nice. The spa was beautiful but the treatments weren't as high quality as they could have been. The view from our room was drop dead gorgeous. It was easy to get to the national park and other amazing sites.

There were dead flies all over the stairs the entire time we were there. They only gave you one towel per person and you needed to give them a ticket to get the towels. For a place that claims to be luxurious, that felt very pedestrian. The property itself is very small and you can't walk around outside the property because it's located on the main road with no sidewalks. If you like to run outside, you're out of luck. The gym is tiny and you need a reservation to use it. That was annoying

i told the staff that I was celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday as well a week prior to comin

The location was perfect and centrally located for all the sites to visit in Arenal National Park

The Spa was amazing and a beautiful view of the volcano for the top floor restaurant.

I loved it there and would definitely stay there again!

I loved the hot springs and the staff was so kind. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. The hotel and room was beautiful.

Perfect hotel in a perfect place!

Luxury in the middle of a jungle.

The first thing that I noticed which wasn't mentioned in any of the reviews I read was how the main pool is filled with water from a local hot spring. The pool was always around 100 degreed F. At first that was shocking since I was expecting a cold refreshing pool, but then I came to love the heat and now miss it since staying at a new location without a thermal pool. Additionally, the staff is wonderful and kind, and the free breakfast in the morning was always a little different each day and delicious. Endless free coffee in the morning is a wonderful treat too. Would for sure come back.

An amazing oasis with great Wi-Fi and beautiful grounds.

The warm pool was amazing! we loved all the little tucked away hot tubs, too. great swim up bar. friendly staff. AND THE WI-FI!! I’ve never had such fast upload and download speeds at a hotel! An amazing place for content creators. The shower was super cool, too!

Everything closes at 10pm. It would have been nice to have the bar open later.
