Location great
Bedroom was clean, well appointed and recently refurbished
Food was OK
Left kindle and phone chargers behind when I left. Staff found them and posted them to me Excellent service thank you.
Booked late at 5pm so cost was very high for bed alone - about double usual rate but that was my problem not the Hotel's and probably Booking.com policy

Location and Bothy bar was really good. Had been before and eaten dinner there, but the food wasn't as good as last time. Staff try really hard to serve you, and they are pleasant enough to talk to. Room was fine, it was a decent size and the shower had really good pressure to it, with plenty hot water.
Breakfast wasn't great. Sausage was a bit undercooked, and the food didn't look great on the plate. They also closed the bar early, so my dad and I left to go to another one down the road. Once we had been to that one, and made our way back, they had completely locked the hotel up, so I had to climb in through a window to let me dad and I back in.

Comfortable, secure, homely.
Would like to have the option of a walk in shower. Not a tub and over head shower.

Location superb. Did not have breakfast. Bought only alcohol. Only one English speaking member of staff knew what real service was. No smoking even outside on veranda!!
Uncoordinated service. Only one member of staff on check-in and service before 3pm. Building in need of upgrade. Mainly Indian food on menu - not what I expected in a Scottish hotel in the heart of The Highlands.
