My room was small and simple, appropriate for a solo traveler, but the bathroom was a delightful surprise. It was luxurious, complete with great big bathtub. The breakfast was top notch and the staff polite and helpful. Overall the hotel feels a little formal and austere, but its very comfortable and has a lot of charm.

The hotel is near the town centre. It felt very safe.
