The location was perfect, right on the water. Spacious.
There were only 2 dining chairs in a 5 bed cabin. No hand towels. Wi-fi didn’t work and TV only worked occasionally. Insufficient seating in living area and also on the veranda. It was a bit expensive

Location, easy access to both the river and ocean, plenty walking and bike tracks and some shaded picnic areas. The convenience of have a hotel bar and bistro, ice cream ,coffee and fish and chips shops within easy reach added to the overall experience and made it a great place to visit.
While the cabin had some positive features, particularly the outdoor deck, there were several aspects that detracted from the overall experience.
The cabin is quite dated, and the combined bunk beds, bathroom and toilet area is cramped, making it uncomfortable to use. In addition, the toilette plumbing produces hissing and screeching noises when toilets in neighbouring cabins are flushed, which can be disruptive, particularly through the night.
The kitchenette was well equipped but the cupboards are chipped and show signs of water damage in several area, giving the impression that maintenance has been neglected.
Although the outdoor deck is an attractive feature, the furniture is heavily rusted and left stains on clothing when used.
Overall, the cabin would benefit from refurbishment, improved maintenance, and the addition of adequate storage for guests belongings to enhance comfort and satisfaction.
