Good hotel in a nice area which wasn’t full of tourists, helpful staff, tours available, big room with balcony and hot shower, great buffet breakfast
It was quite cold and raining on a few days and more blankets would have been good along with some tea and coffee making facilities in room. Room was also big enough for a couple of chairs and no bedside lighting. Evening buffet meal is okay but could be better and poolside bar not open. Also quite a hike and all up hill from the centre.

The bedrooms were comfy and kept very clean. Breakfast in the mornings was nice.
Prospective guests should be aware that the hotel is a 20 min walk from the beach and (naturally enough for a volcanic island) is up a hill.
Walking back in the evenings was a bit of a slog.

Friendly and polite staff. Сlean, if you don't nitpick too much.
Breakfasts are a bit monotonous, but dinners are delicious and filling.
For that price, it's quite OK.
The hotel is located on a hill.
If you don't have a car, you'll have to climb uphill.
Very, very, bad sound insulation. Figuratively speaking, you will live in the same room with your neighbours, and share with them all their joys and sorrows.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathroom was a reasonable size with a decent shower.
Two great bars within easy walking distance.
Interactions at reception (Check-in and paying restaurant and bar bills) were slow, possibly due to a slow computer system and insufficient reception staff at key times. The room was small and cramped with uncomfortable beds. The buffet dinner, although varied, had poor-quality food. Only one waiter was in the large dining room, setting and clearing tables and also acting as the barman. He was friendly and helpful but horribly overworked.
